Description
If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. This image of Mount Fuji looming over Enoshima (江の島) during sunset took me 3 tries, before finally getting the conditions I'd hoped for. I went down to the Shonan area (湘南) in the hopes of capturing Mt.Fuji with a perfect sunset, but on my first try, the clouds covered the entirety of the giant of Japan. A few weeks later, I headed back to the southern coast of Kanagawa (神奈川県), only to turn around half way, as the Japanese weather had once again decided it was not going to play nice. Finally, when I'd given up on taking the picture I'd envisioned until the following year, the perfect conditions were forecast. I once again headed down to the Shonan area and finally captured the perfect image of Enoshima Island in the shadow of Mount Fuji.
